What we look for
- A genuine love for and patience with children, as well as a commitment to their wellness, learning, and growth.
- About six months of classroom experience in a licensed preschool (we're flexible with regard to comparable experience)
- Strong, professional communication with children, families, and team members
- Ability to meet teacher qualifications per Virginia Licensing Standards (8VAC20-780-210); post-secondary education in a child-related field preferred
- Ability to work at children's level (e.g. sitting, squatting, bending over, etc.), move freely about the classroom, and lift 35-40 lbs.
- Ability to pass and maintain a clean criminal background check, drug screening, and Child Protective Services Registry review. U.S. work authorization is required.

Childcare Center Director

Lead one of our Locust Grove centers as the face of the center for our families and the leader of our team. You'll own day-to-day operations — staff hiring and development, licensing and safety compliance, budgeting and enrollment, and the technology that keeps the center running smoothly. We're looking for a proven childcare leader who meets Virginia's program director qualifications and brings strong management judgment, warmth, and reliability.

Childcare Teacher

Prepare young children for kindergarten in a warm, structured classroom — using storytelling, play, and a carefully built curriculum to help each child grow socially, emotionally, and academically. You'll partner with families, keep the classroom safe and welcoming, and build your own early-childhood career with our training and support.

Senior Accountant
Full-time · Hybrid · $85,000–$100,000 DOE
Fredericksburg, VA
Be our first in-house accountant, owning the monthly close end-to-end for six affiliated entities (childcare, real estate, holding, and software). Our processes are established and our reporting system already drafts revenue entries and reconciles the books line-by-line — we need your judgment, ownership, and accuracy. You'll work directly with the owner, with a clear growth path to Controller.
